If Golfing Means the World to You, Welcome to Earth

Welcome to Earth

Welcome to the Earth Course, the first of 2 Eco friendly courses by Greg Norman.

A sharply defined, sculptured course inspired by the great parklands of Europe and North America, Earth by Greg Norman paints a magnificent pastiche of flora, rolling terrain and rushing water. These natural components also provide differing angles and changing perspectives from each tee. The meandering, and occasionally daunting, water features will be an ever-present factor when lining up the next shot, forcing a careful drive and constant consideration of ball carry.

As proud host of the inaugural Dubai World Championship, the unveiling of Earth saw global star players Sergio Garcia, Robert Karlsson, Justin Rose, Darren Clarke and Martin Kaymer, joined by Khalid Yousuf, three-time UAE champion and one of the Emirate’s most talented young golfers, gather to play the last four holes of the Earth Course.

At close to 7,700 yards long, Earth features dramatic bunkering filled with distinctive white sand, similar to that used at Augusta National for the US Masters. The course also features more than 20 lakes at depths of five meters to ensure pristine water quality.

The Earth course was one of the most anticipated golf courses in the world, with interest from worldwide media and stories on the course development reaching all areas of the globe. With Sanctuary Falls’ villas overlooking the Earth Course, their proximity and views of the course will add tremendous value to these properties, and contribute to making them some of the most sought-after and luxurious golfing residences in the world.
